Zziplex ZTi
Here is a short clip of me casting the ZTi for the first time , distances were around the 220 meter mark , reel is ABU 6500 0.28mm line and weight is 125 gram.

What are other peoples thoughts on this model rod and what distances have you been able to get with it ?
Regards

Bobcat ,
I am asking people what distances they have achieved with the ZTi if they have cast them as well.

but no one has done 300yd with ZTI
infact no one has done 300 with a Zziplex for a few years now
a cono-flex got near last year 294 i think
it ok saying the rod my do 300+ but who will be useing it .
there is only one man doing 300yd cast and he only cast one make of rod
CENTURY

Dave ,
You are corect that only one person in comp this year has been hitting 300 , but Zziplex rods have also achieved these distances with JW.
I know that the rods are capable of getting the distance , what I am wanting to find out is what distances are people averaging with the rod. This gives me a yard stick by which to gauge my own progress with it.
Regards

Dave,
Only one man has ever done 300yds with a century... Danny!
Several people have done over 300 with with other rods including conoflex and zziplex
In actual fact more people have cast over 300yds in the UK with Zziplex than any other rod

hi jeremy, yes in a way i know what you mean its great this casing bug is,nt it my heads done in with it all. i wonder what the zti would be like with a stiffer butt read it somewere that tc designed these rods to take over from xtr.
dave has andy green also not done over 300yds with a zziplex rod not sure but i think he has,i good friend of mine has cast 270yds with a 4500hpm and a zti is more powerful than one of them, also sir gary dickerson has done hughe distances with a zziplex synchro, most rods from most staples are now more than capable of chucking in excess of 300yds in my opion

hi dabhanded i have a zti with 40% stiffer butt i love it .the stiffer butt makes the rod recover faster than with the standard butt.

the problem with try to compare zipplex rods is the synchro that gary has done all his big casts on wouldnt be the same as the one you bought now so its very hard to make a direct comparison
I think by comparing each model if bought at the same time would give a more accurate comparison as zzippys can vary quite a lot year from year
but they are the most reliable blank out there by a long way. all of them
