They are a bit like women you have to go through a few until you find the one you like. I was always century but began to buy zziplex last year. am onto my 4th zippy now.
I think the rods are excellent, it takes a while to find a rod that suits you, also some people sell simply because they need the money due to their financial situation, its hard to get money these days!!!!!!!!
Species 2013 - Whiting x 22, Dogfish x 24, Lobster x 1, Pollack x 1,
i only brought one because it was going for a bargin, anyone who uses them will swear by them...i mean who wants to pay 400 quid + and say yer my rods rubbish! i think thats half the reason why so many sell to be honest. find alot of people just buy them for the name and the bragging rights. just my opinion of course.
I had a zippy and partly got it cuz of the name but one of the best rods I've ever used but now got a century just because I wanted something a bit stiffer than Sst and the rod was good price. Couldn't falt Esther of them
wonder how many of these zipplex owners buy the rods thinking its the way to get out to the bigger fish and still only catch nothing but dogfish and whiting lol
It's what's on the last couple of feet that matters yes a rod can give u distance to get to the fish and better bite detection but a rod is only as useful as its owner.
I'm guilty of being a tackle tart but its what I enjoy and love spending money on my, all the gear and no idea

As Ken said it can take a while to find the right one for you as ive been informed. But it's a hell of a lot of money to spend on the wrong rod only then to buy another wrong rod.
