I head up to the snow and camp on the ice caps in winter and have never had cold feet with cheap snow boots. My kids use them beach fishing out here, though thats never as cold as the UK but the top of the mountains gets a little chilly. Call them fishing boots and the price will tripple.

The sundridge hotfoots are cheap and cheerful though not brilliant for a long trek. Mate just got proper muck boots and they look the business, proper warm but really well fitted and good for a long old strut.

    Aigle ISO Parcours.
If there is a better welly maker than Aigle, I wish to know about them, because I am sceptical they can be bettered. Their ankle designs are superb, meaning I can walk literally all day in them. Not in a million years would I do that in most.
