:) Had to go into my garage to look for a reel someone wanted. Shifted a lot of stuff but found what I was looking for, plus a few things that I thought were gone for ever. Found a super rigged lure that a skipper gave me for being, "The best angler he'd had on his boat", better than an angler from a British magazine that had come out to do a review, like I had. Don't know if it was genuine or done to get a better review? Nice big lure though. Found my magged Daiwa Saltists 20 & 30 LD HSH's, only lost one reel now and that was my Penn Mag Xtra which was stolen from my car when fishing a match in the Dockyard. Trouble is, Mrs B saw me bring them in so some will have to go. Even I admit that I have far more than I am likely to use now that my foreign forays have been curtailed. :(

:( Photos would only make it worse. Trouble is that I had plans for several trips abroad a year when I retired, so bought shore/spinning gear for that purpose, I already have the boat gear. Unfortunately I had to fly home from GB with a problem caused by a shattered kidney stone blocking one of the tubes into my left kidney causing very high blood pressure, extreme pain and possible sepsis, stroke or heart attack and kidney failure, it would have probably killed me if I hadn't got home in time. After a couple of days in hospital I was fine but Mrs B is now paranoid that if I go abroad I'll die unless there is a suitable hospital close by, which rules out most places where the fishing is good and wild. So I will be drip feeding some reels into WSF, because I bought some for all eventualities. :(

I know what you mean. I moved house recently and spent a very theraputic Sunday morning sorting out gear. Found all sorts stuff I'd forgotten about.

;) This wasn't therapeutic, it was stressful and heavy lifting was involved and as I have a bad back and shoulder it was painful but I was very pleased to find things I forgotten about, over a £1,000 worth of reels alone that I've not used for years, if at all, not got room in the cabinet for them all. ;)

;) I'm trying to mate but I can't be selfish and stress my wife out, she's more like my carer than my wife now. I know she means well but, "are you alright" every time a do a bit of gardening or clearing the pond wears after a while. Not complaining as she's worth her weight in grip leads. ;)
