eddy we fished arbroath last week and the catch was quite good - caught a lot of medium size cod mainly on baited feathers which worked the best of everything tried - jigging is a waste of time at this venue

Cheers dippy went out on the ultimate predator (alex smith) for a 3 hr trip today I had 2 around the 1.5 lb mark and my nephew had one undersized fish his first ever cod was a nice way to spend a few hours but the fishing was poor Alough alex did try like a bear I think the boat had a total of around 8 fish all caught on feathers baited with squid

Any updates on the fishing off Arbroath? Is there much Cod getting caught on the boats? I am really needing a trip out. I desperately want some Cod & chips for my tea soon (My own caught fish is nicer)

went out on sun 31st july on the ultimate predator - weather was a bit rough but a few decent cod up to 7lb size were caught mainly with lug or crab - jiging with feathers got us inundated with mackerel.
