    just seen on the news bird flu has been confirmed in Dorset swan sanctuary, it looks like the one on chesil beach

    well if you are planning to fish there and keep chickens probably a wise idea to take come virkon with you to wash your boots after your visit.

    My other hobby is keeping birds and some shows and sales have been already cancelled.
    I go over to Belgium and Holland sometimes to buy birds and restrictions have been in about a month there.
    As my birds are inside in a birdroom i dont have to worry about them mixing with wild birds as others may if they are kept outside in aviaries.
    Its a bit of a pain in the ass but sh1t happens.

    I am also a chicken breeder and is very worrying especially when you put so much time into hatching rare breeds out and then in mixed runs !
