I have a pair of goretex chest waders with neoprene feet in them, my wading boots have felt soles, Im not expecting them to be suitable for fishing the rock edges, and was planning on buying a decent pair of wellies or boots.

Whats everyone wearing ? Any suggestions ?

Sweedish m59 mountain boots paid a 10er from milatary mart, they full grain got a coating, no leeks really really tough, good tread, taken studs way better than any other boot ive had.

Impressive those vass boots. Warm comfy and easy to walk in. Feels like you got good support around the ankle too unlike wellies. .

They arrived today can't believe I paid a tenner (£6 p&p) for a full grain leather brand new pair of walking boots rubber coating up to the laces of the boot to waterproof them
Stomping around the house to break them in at the moment I was lucky only 10's & 11's left I'm an eleven.
    Thanks again Matthew great advice.
    Pete

Problem is my walking boots the metal bits erode quite quick and come off after fishing with them. Not saying you'll have the same problem as I should of cleaned them. But you've got a bargain for a £10

Mine arrived this afternoon, thanks for the heads up
Very mouldy and stink but solid as a big rocky thing. Just starting to break them in, which will break first, boots or feet :confused2:
