    Hi Folks,
Just a note reference choosing outboards particularly the higher HP motors. The new 2 stoke low pressure fuel injection outboards are proving to be a lot more economical than the carburettor fitted engines. They also weigh considerably less than the 4 strokes and are physically smaller. We run a Tohatsu 90TLDI on a Orkney Day Angler 21 and are impressed with economy. Another plus is the cost of the Tohatsu compared to equivalent 4 Strokes.

Less than 4 at a guess. They've not been round long.

Iv owned 5 boats, and the best two I have ever owned were bought on ebay, one was an Aquasport 25 with a 235 HP OMC, handled like a tug, went 11 miles offshore in 8 -10 foot seas, didn't get a drop in the boat. And the second (and my current boat) from ebay is a Pilot 590 17 foot with a 1996 60 HP Johnson, runs like a watch and boat handles like a 25 footer. Doesn't really depend on where you buy the boat from, but who you buy the boat from.
