    More likely Ray. I have seen one of the Totally Awesome videos where they were looking for Stingray imprints that looked very similar.

    Yes Stingray are summer fish but the Thornbacks are starting to show again over here, They all press themselves down on the bottom in much the same way so I reckon the imprint would be pretty similar

    I'd wager Congor it is stingray. The circular pattern looks very familiar.

    Try one rod with large ragworms and another with fish baits see what's there mate

    On the first pic there is a round shape which looks like the ray prints you can get in the sand but also i wouldnt say its a bucket or tht pressed on the sand beacause the is like a little wideish line going from the back of the print so i would suggest rays

    Try a up and over rig with 1/0 Sakuma pennels with lots of rag on one and sandeels on the over . Always worth a try

    I'm going to try scaling down my hook sizes a bit, I always use 4/0 and a 6/0 pennel but fear it may be too much so after reading your comment about a 1/0 I will try that mate do u use 2 1/0 hooks?

    The Sakuma extra hooks are very strong can land most fish in are seas.
