Excellent bit of footage, just what this forum needs, someone taking the time to provide something interesting and worth watching
And as for the banter/p1sstaking, keep it up

Hi Ken, just got myself a water wolf :)

Might go out next week hopefully. Wrecking English channel, apart from avoiding the wrecks is there any rigs/methods or pitfalls I should look out for before I take the plunge??
I'm thinking 50lb braid then a weak link/line on the pirk

Great footage. You can see a small one hooked on my YouTube films but it is disproportionally less exciting. Great stuff and yes you need to have it in the water to get a good film. Scary, but otherwise you don't need to buy it. I always try to pretend I just have 4 cutbait herrings on a rig, more or less the same price ;-) Keep filming and posting I especially liked the opportunistic small one. When you say Wolfie, do you mean a brosme/cusk or something else. I am not a native and have struggled to get the description right for one of my videos which nobody seems to recognise ;-)

Hey Jim, hope you're good mate.
I christened my then-new custom Zziplex 30-50lb with that biggun in the vid, and also with a few other decent fish.
And I christened my new custom 30-35 with a 35.5lb cod also, so all good.
Looking for a 200lb-er this year.
