Plenty of Whiting and Pout plus a few Dogs and the odd small bass at night hard work during daylight at the moment.
All of the council run carparks Eastoke, nab and Beachlands(http://www.havant.gov.uk/parking/car-parks) are free from 1st Nov until the end of February Eastoke is one of the more popular spots or the coastguard lookout just down the road but at night most places will fish the same at the moment, daylight for the odd Flounder, Dab or Plaice if you are lucky.

Do chesil mate . If u want to fish all weekend then it's worth the long drive down .depending on the weather mate . Not fun in strong winds and rain.

But must say one thing make sure your happy with the gear. Take spare line and shock leaders . As you may get a few snap offs . Not like carping mate. And a few spare grip leads. There's always a few good tackle shops down there if you get any hassle
