Fished Hornsea North End Beach yesterday (Sat 21st). Fished low water upto high which was at 8.30pm. Fish really started to come on about 6.00pm onwards then died off about twenty minutes to high with just the odd one caught.
Plenty of whiting about with a few small flatties reports of codling. Didn't have to cast to the horizon to score.
According to the locals they were upto their necks in fish on Friday around the same area. Used gully lug, rag and fish tip. Bit of weed came on just before high water.
