    There's a wreck around 2.9 miles due west of Corsewall point. I don't remember fishing that far north of Portpatrick but I'm told the wrecks are rarely fished these days.

    An hour each side of slack water only, mind....

    That's the one, at the entrance to Loch Ryan. I'm assuming you have a boat.....

    There is a great book called Galloway Shipwrecks by Peter C Miller which gives approx co-ordinates and the history behind many local wrecks, one we used to fish was a German U boat. We found quite a lot of the wrecks but the numbers are approximate and you have to search with sonar to get them spot on. Good fun :thumbsup:

    I don't my m8 does tho is there any spots from the shore as I can't always get out can only go when he does I'll look the book up the now

    Sorry, don't know any shore marks. Only fished boats, charter and our own, out of Portpatrick.

    I bin on a few from Port Patrick myself the predator and the lucky dip thanks for the info tho much appreciated

    We had our own boat latterly but went out with Brian on Cornubia quite a lot, some great night herring bashes!

    Went out with Dominic on Predator in August and caught his first tope! I remember when he was a lad in the RN, best mates with Brian's son Andrew and used to help out on Cornubia when he was on leave.
