    hey everyone hope you had a great xmas just a quick question I got a new beach caster for xmas and some rigs they are daylights and feathers but say for cod I thought feathers were for mackerel ?
    What are the best cod rigs I want to go to Bognor pier and see if I can catch any

    I think Cod feathers are meant for jigging off of a boat.

    Agree with Poseidon I caught a cod off Bognor pier on a 2 hook flapper rig, get yourself down aldwick angling and buy some pre tied rigs, 2 or 3 hook flapper rigs, 1 hook clipped rigs will be fine get some squid and black lug wraps. Iv seen some pretty nice cod come off Bognor pier so don't give up :)
