    Hi members.

Just wondering what like the Komp SS is on the field? I've already decided that I want one for my fishing (so if you or anyone you know are selling one, drop me a pm!), but if it's also a good casting rod then that's awesome.

    Cheers!

Brilliant field rod and one that can send a lead a long way when loaded up.

Not quite got your technique, Jeremy! But that's definitely put a smile on my face haha! What lead does it like the most do you think?

imho the SS is a great, easy to load, hence cast rod ... if only it was lighter and better balanced i would like it a lot ...

If you want lighter then look at the Excalibur "C" curve

Salt water surf and spinning 70 plus and in total possibly over 200 :eeks: wife keeps threatening to have a garage sale and sell them for $100 each so she can go on another holiday .

My problem is that I have been building and playing around with rods since I was 11 years old and that is now a very long time ago, thankfully my kids are now adults so have more spare cash to play with as you can't take it with you .

Here's another nice light rod in the form of the TT Sport though this one is not a standard one.
