Panama's fishery and evironment.

Please !

The Government of Panama is currently into the process of drawing a new law that will regulate fishing and the marine resources of the country.
NOW is the time to let them know we don't want any commercial spearfhing, nets, killing roosterfish and cubera for fun, etc...

One minute of your time would really help those who fight to protect our fish and playground. Please sign this online petition, or even best, share it on Facebook and ask people to sign it !

THANK YOU !!!

Done - for what it's worth..

Hopefully sustainable use of the coastal fisheries/area's will continue instead of short-sighted policies which don't protect the ecosystem as a whole...sadly rare in so many instances - the whole ivory burn/wider debate of conservation in Kenya/Africa a clear example..

Good luck garnering additional support and 'voices'.

Are bluefin trevally that coveted as a sport fish over there as to deserve a place on the "total release" list? They're a decent sport fish but I'd have thought nowhere near the same league as a rooster or cubera (and they're brilliant to eat, the best tasting of the trevally family).
