    Can anyone tell me the ring sizes and spacing (for multiplier use) for a Powertex Bass?

    Also, are Pac Bay Minima rings a good choice for this rod?

    Hi,

    For a bass rod, multiplier use : 8rings+tip, i would think of something like :

    Tip=10mm, then 4×10, 12, 16, 20, and last 25mm.

    That's about what i have on my lighter beach rods, works perfectely.:)

    Oh, and if you choose minima : a lot of people advise to use a different tip ring (fuji, alps) as minima's wouldn't be very good.
