Hi guys,
Just managed to get this Friday off and I'm thinking of spending the day at shoreham west arm. Only problem is ive never fished it during the day, usually go in the winter in the evening. Just wondering what I can expect this time of year on the arm?
Thanks

Plaice, Flounders and Schoolies were the order of the day today... The water looked lovely tonight at dusk but sadly I couldn't stay awake any longer... Normally I would not favour Rag but Lug and Rag both seem to be working well at the moment.... I've had a couple of Undulate's in the last week, both on Squid. Also Soles have started to show, even in daylight but the bigger ones seem to be just after dark. There were some Mackerel caught at the weekend but I didn't see any today... possibly coz no-one really tried for them!

Will update on here in a couple of days.... Gee.

hi mate, loads of plaice about at the moment garfish just started the odd dab and they say a few herring, but I think these may be shad. June should se loads more species and can include some very large smoothhounds at night on crab regards Nick.

Well went down the arm yesterday afternoon with my lad and fished the flood tide for around 3 hours then the ebb for 2.1/2 hours until around 9pm met some really lovely people down there, but unfortunately even though we had 4 rods between us we blanked unless you count a small spider crab and 1 very small herring that fell off.
but we did do some ground baiting for future fisherman so hopefully will bring some fish in ;)
