    No idea how slack Alice was ;) not my reel... but it didn't take too long to resolve the issue with a Stanley knife...

    That Mr.N4lly is known in the trade as a mere "fluff" I don't have any shots of any of my masterpieces but I do notice the Penns seem to perform quite well at this.

    i had a beauty last time i went out but as i never saw this thread coming and it happens so often (still new to multi casting, only been doing it for 8 months ish) i decided not to document them but i will in future as no talent and plasterer's arms produce some real record breaking hedgehogs!.

    by the way cracking thread, sick of hearing bout bass huggers and nice to have a change!

    I remember these back in the 70's using Mitchell 600's & reels like Penn Squidders. Crap fittings like Dons Antilash to try & beat them. I just dont suffer anymore with modern reels. Perhaps having learned on crap 40 years ago helps.

    Slightly off post went out tonight rod rest blew over when setting up
    both rods broke 1 ring insert 1st rod a f/s Greys Grxs the 2nd a new
    first time used Diawa D series Surf Rod
    BOO HOO plus I Blanked

    A verry sorry for himself scousenigel:sad:
