Hi guys... found this ring spacing chart , seems to have a lot of classic Zippy and Connie rod details...

May be of some use to those doing classic rebuilds..

Maybe good enough for a sticky Mods ?

It is a very important resource, so thanks Dave for sharing :)

I think it may be even better if this thread will be improved with spacings also from rods we have. Some models are still lacking and difficult to find online, but am sure some of us have them in the shed.
Will do this for the rods I have and not present in the list.

just a small point and quite obvious really.the conoflex spacing are stated as inches from tip and should be space between rings.you might find the tip a bit overcrowded otherwise:eek:

difficult to answer that without causing offence , but how is that my problem?(lol)

to be fair , people get a bit paranoid about spacings . if the line runs clear of the blank , doesn't bunch up on the butt ring, and the bend looks sensible , there ain't a lot to worry about .

same with butt ring sizes , 40/50mm for a F/S reel is still what people want to see , but with quality modern lines provided the reel and ring are not too close , 30mm is fine and less prone to damage

:Oo: Hi, no offence just thought you might be interested, i never had a problem with it even with one extra intermediate and the butt ring a couple inches higher thank you for the information. P.S. Was there any difference between the Quattra Match and Sport out of interest ?.

Excellent, Thank you for the info my Quattra has a 3,5 tip and the ring spacing matches the first 5 rings 4, 8,5 13,5 20, 28 then 41, 58, 75. 6" down from top of butt.
