Could any one help identify a rod? its an old zzipy with the gold decals that's barely visible. The only other decal is a small gold one that says carbon. Its 11ft 6in oa. The butt section is a shade under 4ft and about an inch in diameter over the whole length and has no flex at all. the tip is what i would call soft and bends mostly in the top 3ft. I can post pics but doubt it will help as there's nothing els to go on.

    thanks

going by your description i would guess 2500,some of these had gold decals along with a carbon butt. softish tip maybe but at that length would make a good high reel pendulum rod. atb
