The Gambia is a small country situated on the west coast of Africa.  Often referred to as the ‘smiling coast’ The Gambia offers a warm sunny climate & palm-fringed beaches lapped by warm Atlantic waters.

The tidal estuary waters of the mighty River Gambia flow over shallow reefs, sandbanks, & through deep channels and are bordered by oyster rich mangroves and a maze of saltwater bolongs. This diverse marine environment gives the angler an excellent opportunity to fish for a wide variety of species using different angling techniques & methods. 

Our charter boats target various hotspots fishing with ledgered baits to entice species including big Cubera Snapper, Threadfin Salmon, Cassava-Croaker, Ladyfish, Jacks & large Catfish.  For the big game specialist Shark, Tarpon and large Rays are fished for over the deep channels and submerged plateaus.  Sport Fishing along the coastline is varied and exciting - trolling lures around the numerous inshore reefs and sandbanks can produce Barracuda, Jacks, Mackerel & Snappers as well as the odd surprise.
