Moonfleet Angling goes to Antigua
Top rig making manufacturer, Moonfleet Angling are soon to ship a number of specially made rigs to a mental health unit in Antigua. The rigs are to be used by the hospitals nurses to take clients and service users shore fishing as part of the unit’s health care package.
Also on the agenda for Moonfleet Angling is to send a package of rig making materials to the mental health unit so that the patients can learn to build their own rigs for shore angling.
Pat Cladding, a senior social care worker from Grimsby has been chosen as the lucky guy who will be taking the tackle and components to Antigua, he will supervise their safe arrival and initial use by the patients.
Ian Houlton, boss of Moonfleet Angling said “Everybody knows that rig making is quite therapeutic, it doesn’t come any more relaxing. There should be some very interesting pictures and feedback as a result and we are looking forward to seeing our rigs used to catch some unusual species”.
