Mustad Seafarer Boots

Have used mine over a few trips now and thought i would write a report on them. Here goes.

These boots have designed to be used for rock hopping and/or general shore fishing. They also can be used for boat fishing, although i think they should be higher up the calf for this type of fishing.

Coming in only one colour, Mustad Blue, they certainly stand out when you wear them.

Your ankle is well supported with durable padding and has a waterproof one piece rubber lower with moulded steel shank sole with cleated grip.
The feet are kept warm thanks to the Thinsulate material inside the boot. I would recommend only wearing one pair of socks with this boot as they are narrowish at first.

The thick long laces are more then enough for you to tie up with gloves on should you require to.

The grip on the sole has performed well on the Scottish rocks and the softish rubber moulds well to the rock surface and instills confidence into my movement about the shoreline.

In my honest opinion a fantastic boot to have and use on the rugged coastline around Britain.

Retailing for around £29.99 (Source: http://www.veals.co.uk )
