Fox System Box

These have been a round a while now but have proved unbelievably tough and I think are the very best boxes for containing all those smaller accessories. I bought my first about four years ago and it's as good as the day I bought it.

The boxes are made from ultra tough polypropylene plastic with a see-through lid. The box bases come in black, green or blue colours. The lid hinges back a full 180 degrees and the hinge is all plastic, so there's nothing to rot. The lid is fastened using sliding type catches that are totally secure in transit and big and easy enough to be worked by cold fingers in wet weather, and again, they're just about unbreakable.

The lid has an outer lip that, when fastened, covers the base unit and virtually eliminates any chance of water ingress in normal conditions, which includes a downpour.

system_box.jpgThe medium to large boxes come complete with separate dividers that fit in to specifically designed slots inside the main storage base compartments to allow you to change the dimensions of the compartments to your own choice to fit specific items.

There are several sizes of boxes, the smallest at roughly 70 x 52 x24mm with four non-adjustable compartments ideal for beads, swivels and links retail for around £3.25. There are various designs of boxes sporting two, three and four compartments at £4.25.

The medium boxes, as illustrated here, measure 250 x 185 x 50mm and cost £11.25, or the biggest is a 6 way divider with blanking inserts and measures 333 x 240 x 50mm. The smallest and largest boxes are likely to be of main interest to sea anglers.

In conclusion, these are tough, non-corrosive, easy access boxes ideal for the sea anglers smaller terminal tackle accessories keeping items dry and safe. Don't let the price put you off, you're likely to have these boxes for years and years.
