Partridge Fly and Lure Wallet

This is a different and often more practical way to carry flies and small lures, especially if you want to carry a fair range of flies, but keep everything lightweight.

The green nylon wallet measures 11ins x 7ins, uses Velcro has a fastening, but opens to the left and right to expose the inner wallet. The edges are strongly stitched with protective webbing. The rear of the closed wallet has a belt loop at the top, and a two-part divided pocket at the base.

Opening the wallet, it is divided in to three flat sections of ethafoam to take the flies or small lures. In between the ethafoam on the divider lines are long narrow pockets that could take pliers, unhooking tools or other essential items. These are closed at the top with Velcro strips. In addition there is a clear plastic pocket behind the third section, again closing with Velcro, for additional storage, possibly spools of line etc.

The wallet also sports two connector buckles inside the main opening flap as attachment points, also a further attachment buckle on the top outside edge.

flywallet.jpgThis is an excellent idea especially suitable for the sea fly fisherman who needs to be fully mobile to cover a large amount of ground, but needs to have a lightweight system of carrying a large variety of flies to cover all needs. The wallet is also ideal for storing small lures like Mepps spinners and even traditional smaller spoons like Toby variants or Wedges without the treble hooks tangling tighter.

It costs £19.99 in the UK and is available from all Partridge stockists.
