So im sure we will be spending some time jazzin up our lures during all this time staying at home...and generally banging off the walls.
After doing many searches on here and the rest of the tinternet.
Most of which have ended up in a bit of confusion and being swamped with options. I was wondering as they are so important to actually catching a bass...what type/make of treble hooks you guys would recommend/use for your trebles....whatever the price it doesn't really matter.
    Good quality and sharp?
What are your favourites? What do you use? What have you been keen to try? What are you opinions good or bad?

    Stay safe

    Cheers ken

I quite like the ones below Islander - 8's and 6's cover it for me.

I get mine from Chesil Bait And Tackle - localish to me but probably get them else where too?
Top service if you need them posted anyway.

For me they are the nearest thing to the Owner ones that seem to be on many lures out of the box - however difficult to track down- at least the last time I tried.

These hooks are strong ,fare well if rinsed relatively often and are thin wire - I find the VMC ones a bit agricultural .
(got loads if anyone wants them - Joe they're yours mate?)

Recently had a punt on the decoy Y-s81 to replace the hooks on some Ali express lures. Quite pricey but seeing as the lures were cheap i managed to convince myself.

I always used decoys but recently tried these from CB&t lovely treble , nice thin wire but tough .
I don't like the thick wired trebles that resemble a grappling hook.
I prefer to use singles but only in the right circumstances .

    decoy ys81s..
    size4 are very useful.
if you replace hooks on tide minnows bassdays halucas x140s and the like you end up with lures that suspend instead of float.

I't really bugs me, you pay twenty quid for a lure and first thing people recommend is a change of trebles:mad::mad:

A pain when you need to change them straight away....i use most of the lures with the normal hooks...but in the end they need to be replaced at some stage...
