This morning I fished Whitburn (just down the bank from the lighthouse) at the bottom of the bank is a flat rock and this is where I fished. I’m not sure if this is the best area as I’ve never fished here before.
Again no fish to report but if someone could tell me whether I was in the right area, it would be appreciated.

check the tide before you go, as last time I went got the tide wrong and the ledges are underwater we could not fish + a canny sea going so had to get off .
my mistake got tide wrong water both sides of the ledges not the place you want to go for a swim
