How many anglers from the forum are heading to the EOBC ?

I'm heading from Scotland along with my fishing partner. Looking forward to fishing the area again . Accommodation has been booked for a good few months, baits all taken care of . Only 11 weeks or so to go.

    Can't wait.

    ⚠️⚠️⚠️Easington Beach Access⚠️⚠️⚠️

All competitors, please be aware the road/parking area off Dimlington Road, North of the Gas Terminal (sometimes referred to as Fisherman's Car Park) is not accessible for the EOBC 2020.

The Council's Coastal Team and Humberside Police have asked us to inform competitors that pipeline works are been carried out which restricts access.

As our Competition Handbook was printed before this information Easington Car Park is not up to date.

We ask all competitors to familiarise themselves with all the rules and guidance our Competition Handbook and to keep an eye on this Facebook page, our website and venue notice boards at Sand le Mere for any updates during the competition.

I seen that from Sea Angling adventures video last night. Parts of them are pure sludge.

Thanks for the heads up as well.

Colin, yes I seen it when they posted. That's going to be a killer for parking around that area.

Are you fishing the flattie bash and the full weekend ?

Might be a idea for any body fishing this match to take a small spade with you , just in case. Good luck to all of you and stay safe and tight lines

Also remember the Wacky Races when the stop fishing whistle blows.. a shedload of cars all want to be back at the weigh in first, parking will be a nightmare, and the roads around Sand Le Mare will be like the M25.

Good luck to everybody, I wont fish it because of the above and other factors that rear their head, once bitten twice shy as they say.

Stay safe, and take a rope and spike, a small folding spade is a good shout as well ( maybe a hose pipe and scrubbing brush too ,the cliffs can be really bad :veryconfused: )

    Dave

I,m 14 mile from the coast the cliffs are bad at the moment , just come back in from fishing with only a small codling caught. I fished from the cliff tops and was sat in my car watching the rod. :sneaky::sneaky::sneaky::sneaky:
