Aberdeenshire. Loads of them, various sizes, when I arrived at the spot some guys already had FULL bag of fish. I was fishing only around 30 min. I wasn't ready for mackie bashing. They are here and hungry :) Hope I just made your day :) Tight lines

Fished loch long just down from portincaple for a wee bit today, struggled to get through them to get a bait down. Had one well over 1lb and a half, closer to 2lb.

Hi mate, just noticed this message. They'll still be about for the next month or so. Coming into portincaple from the south, head north towards arrochar and about two miles up pull into one of the laybyes. Not been since july but they were plentiful last time around.

Do we know if there's any still about along the east coast? Gourdon, Arbroath, Peterhead? Heading up next week for a long weekend fishing a few marks, got some frozen from last year but you can't beat fresh bait!

Mackerel still about the west coast. Caught 2 and lost one today in sunny fine conditions from the rocks at Loch Nan Uamh. Never caught them this late before....
