I have fished before I have my own stuff but always been surpervised while out so Always restricted to getting out, well gone are those days and I’m ready to roll.

problem is I don’t really know what I’m doing or buying, I have my own stuff but it’s based around carp fishing, I met some amazing guys the weekend beach /sea fishing and I want to give it a go.

anyway any advice or line? Weight and bait for a girl would be great

As mentioned above its all about venue and what your wanting to target and your budget of course, if your looking to buy the higher end sort of rods and reels...zziplex and century rods, see if your can get your hands on one to have a feel first or buy second hand, ive been there and done it with zippys and century rods and ive wasted my money until ifind something that suits me, but there is everything out there for everyones budget mate.

im new myself to the forum and ive found it very informative on some subjects im a bit unsure about, these lot seem a good bunch of people and willing to help if you have any problems, totally different to facebook and if im honest..I prefer it on here.

good luck with your fishing, if you blank dont worry just keep plodding on and put the time and you will get your rewards
