    I've made a pretty cool downrigger. Actually more to the point my brother has made it for me as he is a rod builder. Made from 75cm carbon fibre rod handle with a roller eye at the end. Clip on line counter and an old multiplier with braid. I am looking at some deep trolling of soft plastics...
