Hi all, My family and I moved to Ranish a year ago, our house is roughly 8 miles from Stornoway. I started fishing when I was around 8 or 9 on local canals and rivers in Gloucester, then moved on to sea angling when my family moved to Devon. I am almost 50 now and have fished on and off all my...

Hi there, Planning on going boat fly fishing on Loch Leven with some pals. This will be a new experience as I have only every bank fished with my fly rod. Understandably, I know I will most likely need to get a new rod as my current setup is a 9ft 5w. What I am looking for is advice on what...

Popped out for a lunchtime saltwater session over low water yesterday, water was 19c so left the waders at home and went in swimshorts etc - a lot easier to get ready and cooler too. Used a sandeel-style fly and caught a few of these schoolies at waist depth.

Alright everyone? I have been on and off fishing for a while. My older brother has been in to it all his life and I have tagged along really, never wanting to take the plunge and buy my own kit until recently.
