my first session afloat on the yak has come and gone just like that.

I enjoyed the paddle more than anything else .
It was tough heading to some promising ground , we certainly had to play safe .
The weather forecast was right with light northerly , and with nothing to stop the wind we had to shelter behind...
quick update from little jersey. Managed to get out a couple weeks ago in this dismal weather and break a record.
The record had stood for a mere 24hours broken by a mate. Going 2.12.4 this is the new bot record. Caught from my yak. Enjoy!
Outdoor , fishing and exercise is part of our life . We had it hard lately with lost freedom and horrible cold weather but we found some hope lately . Our local water was frozen so the next step was to paddle and fish the Clyde . We were not even ready but still enjoyed some fresh air .
Friends and the great outdoors . Well worth a watch , many fish species , great scenery, adventure and a laugh .

Another week , another adventure .
Same again , not travelling too far for fishing , this time we decided to give the Clyde estuary a small check . There is always a little bit of paddling involved and exercise for us all so we , I decided to go to Dunoon .

Out and about , small exercise and plenty fresh air , this time we went exploring the Clyde estuary .
And a first . A dragonnette . Those fish are not as common as the haddock , cod and mackerel .

We are so glad living not too far from the sea . Like any other weeks we stay close to home and enjoy the great outdoors . This week they all wanted to go fishing and Saturday was the best weather .

Recently been getting out in the yak on the SE coast of jersey.
Finding it a Tad difficult at the moment but trying to work out what the bass like etc in different areas.
favouring the komoko and Saduke at times when trolling but mostly soft plastics like skerrie etc
We had some crazy weather this winter , it's not great yet but a least the wind is dropping .
