Hit loads of mackerel whilst visiting my dad on his holiday just off the rocks at strachur.
This was as tide was going out.
loads of fish jumping and popping up when we where packing up as the dreaded midgy was getting the better of me.

Loch Fyne this week for us kayakers . You guessed it , it's cold .
Fish are still biting :
Cold weather and very light wind .
Mackerel in December .
Dogs and other species too .
Great scenery .

Am looking to get out this weekend, thinking Long or Fyne or even Etive . Does anyone know if the Mackerel are in any Lochs?
I have only fished Etive from Taynuilt piers with no luck, except seeing some otter, are there any better marks or am i just a bit rubbish? :confused2:
