went to loch duich on a wee species hunt for the afternoon. headed first for a thornback but the weather gods ruined that so i only did 1hr and got 1 doggie. headed round to the castle to see what mini species i could get. great fun caught masses of tiny fish:thumbs:. size 10 hooks on prawn and worm. had none stop action for 3hrs solid. can you let me know what the small brown wrasse is? im pressume the other one is a female cuckoo wrasse, not sure as they were so small.

fish caught

9 cuckoo wrasse
2 notsure wrasse
7 pollack
4 coalies
1 lsd
13 pout
80 odd poor cod

apart from the lsd they were all tiny. but good fun on light gear.
