Here are the dates and crew lists for 2011's trips.
All are 8 hour trips with Sea Leopard (Skipper John Goldsmith 07957 760 063 http://www.sea-leopard.co.uk/index.htm)
from Newhaven Marina unless another port or boat is shown:-
New members are welcome and previous boat fishing experience is not needed! Tackle and help can be provided. If a trip is full do go on the reserve list as there are often last minute cancellations.
We have a rolling deposit system for bookings - Crew each pay a ÂŁ50 deposit to protect the rest if one fails to turn up! Each trip they then pay cash for that trip on the day. Their deposit then rolls over to secure their booking for their next trip. Single bookings can be made if paid for in advance for a one off trip. The Skipper has agreed that so long as we give a full three weeks notice he will fill an empty place. So, rule is, if you let me know before 21 days of the trip that you are dropping out you will not lose your deposit. Under 21 days you will have to find somebody to take your place but I will help as will the crew and the Skipper. If the place is not filled you must pay for it.
Your SE Anglers deposit will book a place for you on any trip organised by any SEA member but the trip organiser, NOT ME, will be the judge over lost deposits, deadlines for cancellations and any other arrangements.
We work on a crew of 8 but often take 9 and reduce the cost. 9 gives a bit of insurance if one does drop out at the last minute their deposit is safe providing we have a phone call before 7.15am. If the crew falls below 8 then the deposit is lost.
Communication is normally by posts on this thread or by a PM. Phone me if your computer is down and I will text or phone you. If you have not had confirmation by 7.30 p.m the night before, of the trip being on or off, either on this forum thread or by phone, you should phone to check with me that the trip is still on. I will supply my full contact details to you when you join or book a place.
