Absolutely swear by the SG v2 weedless in white, cotton candy, green, etc.

They certainly got you pulling a few up Chesil when the majority of us gave up!

 

Mine has to be the 5 inch z-man jerk shadz discovered rigging them on a 90° hook and a nail weight, I had my best fish with them fishing them this way. I had a great time with them on calm days and a light rod until the weather turned. They also worked at night.

Also the keitech shad impacts but they were not so robust and would only last one fish.

 

The small Savage Gear Sandeel Weedless V2 in white, has accounted for 80% of all fish this year in what is my first full season. I had fish to 75cm on it by simply casting out letting it sink to bottom and then a slowish straight retrieve about 1 turn a second on my 2500 size reel with tip low.
No pauses, twitches or anything, just a constant straight retrieve and they find it especially at night.

new this season with very good results : fish arrow flash-j shad sw 4.5"( white or green)

 

From the boat the Fiiish minnow size 4 body 140mm on the size 5, 30gram head is deadly !!

have always a BM 140 (yellow back ,white belly)with a 18 gr head for sandy beach : has done the job more than once when the sea is rough

A SG weedless sandeel 22gr in white has been deadly where I tend to fish 👍🏻👍🏻

Westin Sandy Andy in pink this year. I've got it in various colours including white but for some reason, pink seemed to be the colour of choice. I know a lot rant about the SG sandeel but I just don't get on with it.

Since they first came out with the articulated jighead design, plenty of other companies have made their own versions and seriously undercut them on price.
Also a few years ago, one of my local tackle shops used to have almost a whole wall dedicated to the Fiish range. And now has run it down to last few odds and ends. Seeming despite customer demand and repeatedly requesting orders, the UK importer did not deliver...too busy with other business interests elsewhere apparently...

So I guess most people have moved on

Savage Gear Sandeel V2 in Khaki has been deadly for me again this year, often catching over 20 before I have to change the body.

 

ZMan streakZ Curley tail, in white, pink and white, pink, blue glitter, brown glitter. There's really not many fish you can't catch on these. BKK jig heads to match for those tough reef species you have to force away from snags.

White V2 15g head has been my go-to this year both shore and boat. It seems to out fish all others the majority of the time.

Caught most fish this year on a six inch worm, white/silver or darker natural colours. 15g, cast a good distance unweighted. Can fish them in lots of ways, cheap enough to loose a few fishing through the rough stuff, rattle in some for the murk. Always carry a few.

Out of interest Bud is that day or night or both, I’ve only had joy on them in the dark so don’t try daylight too often now.

 

For me it had to be the Foxy Guffer slayer it not only caught consistently but also picked the bigger fish

 

interesting looking lure...I'm guessing slow retieve ?

Couldn't agree more mate - I have caught on Karls Guffers everywhere I've used them, and definitely pick out the bigger fish. I work with Karl so get to see what his projects are - his latest jig head efforts are a work of art too and getting people excited already...
