Hi,

I have a 525 Super mag which I got from Ebay a while back, I have asked the question before and been given an answer. My reel is screaming when I cast, it doesn't do it on every cast but every now and then when I hit out a good cast it screams like mad. What is the problem?

I have taken it apart, cleaned it, oiled the bearings and balanced the line on the spool but it still does it.

this is a long shot but take off the spool tensioner and look to see if the bearing housing underneath is perfectly round? i bought one that had an oval (missaligned) hole which the bearing sits in.
i took it back to the shop and the owner and i checked the other stock which all had the same problem (they all had the same inspectors number on the foot)just a bad batch at the time.worth a look tho:g:
