Ooops perhaps that should have said 9lb of Bass still 7 fish to 2lb was very welcome and I don't hold any truck with those who say they don't count it was extremely nice to actually catch fish instead of just drowning invertebrates Fished Cefn Sidan 4hrs up only thing that worked was lug. probably go again tomorrow to try and catch their parents....watch this space

Good to hear the bass are about and better to hear they'll be half a pound fatter for next year!! If only the commercials could adopt the same approach.

I must admit to being a little bemused myself,when anglers say they were only 2lb schoolies......they`re cracking sport,and lovely fish....maybe some peoples expectations are too high.

Tried again today only managed 2 ba..... they weren't big enough to justify being called bass never mind there's always the next time
