Went out on Stingray (Rob Harris) private boat out of Swansea Marina on Saturday and fished marks around Mumbles, Langland, Oxwich, and Worms Head. A few mackerel, lots of gurnard, couple of dogs, decent pollack, and a foul hooked mullet of a few pounds all on the drift while hunting bass on live sandeel. Lumpy seas despite the forecast being good, but a great day out in the sun.

In contrast we fished the short arm on Sunday eaither side of high water in the morning and had the session trashed by the frigging dredger that's showed up there a couple of times in the last week. They should let people know when this boat is going to ruin the fishing so that we dont bother. had a couple of big bites in between the poxy dredger passing up and down the channel, but lost one decent fish on the way in and got snagged on the strike with a two hook flapper on the other. Couldnt cast out far due to the boat and we were too close to the small outcrop of rock near the jetty. Ho hum
