I am after a way to make a gripper device. but would like it to be as low in weight as possible.
This is my last plastic moulded gripper weight and as its plastic its very very light.

I own several gripper moulds for casting lead in them. So i could if i knew what to use could use a resin or plastic or milli putt epoxy.

Any suggestions?

I'd just get some appropriately sized plastic or copper tube and use that. Might not look quite so neat but would do the job i'm sure. Just cut it to length, drill it for your wires, larger bit to make holes for your beads, link in one end and an eye in the other and away you go. you can fill it with resin if you wish or just close the ends., I think i'd favour copper 15m or 19m.
