Fished hythe for a couple of hours this evening.
Beach was empty.
Sea was empty.
But a nice evening to be out.

About halfway along princess parade. Were you the guy who left just after I arrived.
Not what I expected this evening. Thought it would be relatively calm with a nice flat sea.

I was about half way along the Parade too. The only other angler I saw was nearer the Sandgate end when I drove past on my way home, looked like fishing 2 rods and using individual sand spikes. To be honest I wasn't expecting much during the afternoon due to the tide situation but I would have thought that an evening session might have produced. One thing i found was the plague numbers of crabs. Every bait had gone within minutes and I brought one onto the beach when it got tangled in bait elastic. (Of course, I carefully disentangled it and gently lowered it back into its watery home environment.)

We fished fishermans beach.
Again surprised by the sea state!!

Got a few for tea tonight (oh my god, an angler not putting fish back????)
