SATURDAY: had the pleasure/honour of fishing with the LEGEND himself ronnie webb, me and my m8 filled in on their trip, we left milford around 6am, arrived to the mackeral grounds 2 b welcomed by 6 seals but didnt seem 2 put the mackeral off with bunchs of krel flying over the gunnels

after thrashing the water 2 a foam with our feathers we departed 2 the shark grounds, en route we made up the chum bags with the 20hp mackeral chomper andrew had on board :) under the watchful eye of the LEGEND whilst he prepared his armoury

with a cut of the engines we arrived at the big red X on the plotter, sacks out slick gleaming on the surface we set out our gear and awaited our 1st enquiry, the LEGEND predicted the 1st run within half hour, he wasnt far off with the 1st screaming reel alarming within 45 mins and the 1st blue comin on board 10 mins l8r around 75lbs

what went on 4 the duration of the day can only be described as AWSUM, there were screaming reels goin off at an alarming rate, sharks swimming around the boat trying 2 attack the chum bags, sharks attacking garfish, and big fins appearing all the time in the slick, in total we boated 18 sharks and dropped 8 the biggest punching 160lb, 146lb 120lb and the rest between 80-100lb, all fish were landed on the 3 bottles closest to the boat and with the LEGEND being pegged at bottle number 6 he blanked letting his jedis enjoy sum sport, with a long steam bak 2 milford we all got our heads down and the LEGEND tucked into sum strawberries and grapes :), thanx guys for a great day

SUNDAY: with very little sleep and being batterd and bruised from saturdays events arrived at milford at a painful hour for round 2 on the sharks with my normal loop of m8s, we indulged in sum fine frying pan cuisine b4 boarding the boat

done the usual krel bashing and headed out 2 the same big red X as yesterday and prepared the mackeral and poridge for the sharks breakfast

only a brief 20 minute wait for the 1st screamer 2 kick off events, with a few finnicky runs and dropped fish we had 3 lbues uo to 80lb in the morning

after a brief afternoon shark nap they put in another appearence in the afternoon with 7 sharks being landed with the biggest hitting 122lb for fudge

2 people lost thier shark virginity on our trip my dad and simon the brummy bewtmaster both catching fish fine between 80-90lb

what an amzing weekend LEGENDARY!!!!!!
