Hi All,

I have been away on hols. and have not fished for three weeks. It's been hell !!!!

Anybody been down Aberavon of late and caught anything worth reporting on. Before I went on hols. it seemd even the whiting had the same idea and had gone on their hols. too. as there was not much about at all.

A bit jet lagged today but hope to get down and do some fishing late evenings this coming week.

Fished the stone pier at Aberavon yesterday and today, 8 dogfish and 2 small whiting yesterday, 2 small whiting today not even the doggies bothered to show. Plenty of people there but nobody catching.

I fished Wed/Fri night after a long lay off due to illness , small tides no surf but a pleasent couple of nights.
Rag/blow/baby squid produced a couple of small whiting and a couple of dogs all returned ,I would suggest you wait for the bigger tides
