hi there fishers,i heard aberavon beach as picked up,any 1 heard of any bass getting caught ?
heard it was good fishing down behind the rag farm because of the small rag/lug escaping ,any 1 had any luck there ?
i will fish the tide sun 15th may 7.4 tide 10.40 top tide,4 hours before top.
any suggestions on spots /bait /best time on tide to fish will be mutch appreciated.

aberavon fishes badly on small tides and daylight so dont bother
the bass will be there if theres a good surf up
also best to fish it 1 hour before low to top tide(fish the tide up)
baits are mackerel, peelers and sandeel
very slim chance of rays too but as i say its unlikely

as majeeka said the bass will be around if theres a surf up, the bass normaly school bass are taken in numbers of rag and lug following an onshore blow, shell fish will often give you the edge. Rigs keep it simple a 2 hook flapper meets most needs
