Myself and welsh fished Aberthaw West last night in hope of a Hound or 2 after the recent reports. Arrived 3 hours before low and wasent long before we had to wait for the 1st Hound.
I was 1st in with a cracking run and resulted in a PB Common of 12LB 6OZ, Dean missed a run whilst landing my fish (cheers mate, unlucky on yours) I had another 2 Starries of 8LB 7OZ and 6LB 3OZ. We both missed quite a few runs but had what we came from.
Was a very enjoyable night and deffo be up there again soon. Weather was great with a very light SW and fine drizzle.
