Fished an 8 hour session on Swift yesterday. Nice day but easterly wind gave way to a fresh NW seabreeze by afternoon with quite a chop. All boats caught but you had to work hard for your fish. Easterly probably didn't help!

We fished several marks on the reef just outside the Patches Buoy. I had a dozen bream, with the odd decent one, several large weevers, scad, pout, poor cod, dogs, small huss, grey gurnard and a few mackerel, so 9 species. Bream were best on squid strip. Nick as ever worked hard to find the fish, but this year's been patchy for everyone so far. It's as if everythings a few weeks late!

Cheers - John
