I think most people are sensible enough to approach any trips outside (fishing or not) with caution. It's the idiots that think it's ok to protest or hold a rave that are the problem. I personally think there is a second wave coming in the next week or so. The we will be back to square one. If I was fishing and someone was brave enough to invade my space I'd deal with the matter whilst keeping a safe distance, but it wouldn't come to that.

@glyntamlyn I've got to travel 5.1 miles for an eye test tomorrow. I think the sensible thing to do would be to reschedule the appointment, however some chap called Cummings travelled a lot further for his eye test and got away with it...even kept his ****ing job the CUNT!

If people use common sense but at the same time, they overstep the five mile RECOMMENDATION what is the problem? Fishing is a solo sport......for.me it is anyway?

I've been having a good few fish Local , seen a few boys on here fishing local. The problem is my local mark the same as you is 20 miles or so. Keep it up pal . I will tight lines

Disgusting del, joking.

I know off people going travelling all over wales and crossing the bridge fishing south coast.
I was told today a m8 of a m8 of a m8 fished 2 days down abbotsbury chesil.
Staying in wales is one thing but travelling in england is a fking **** take, there not allowed in wales, its these types of people are the ones who dont give a fk about no one except for there fishing fix... inconsiderate tosseres who think they are better and some how above the law..

Got someone heading to my place to chase bluefin tuna later this, 4600km each way, is that to far!!!?

Also got another couple of UK fishing buddies trying to get flights here to chase tuna and mako, not sure what the flight situation is for you guys at the moment. They did say they might have to wait untill next year.

Must admit Ive sort of turned off from it now, there's only so much you can watch on the news. Also seeing people around the world taking no notice of the restrictions was a total wind up.

Luckily we seem to of gotten an early grip of it here, we pretty much stayed home for 6 weeks as of the recommended guidelines. I believe the country only has 102 deaths and seems to have very new cases. Now we can get back to travel within the country. I do keep getting pestered by UK family to head back over there for birthdays etc but stuff that you lot are all mad;):)

I totally agree with you mate I've been working and it's ok for me to travel 30 miles to work and and then 30 back bumping into loads of people..
But then I can't travel more than 5 miles from my house to go fishing where I would never bump into anyone..
Yea right o..
So I have been fishing alot further than the 5 mile radius.

There is total inconsistency with the current advice from the Assembly for me this is a problem because it appears to favour one group of people over another?
I can ride my bike forty miles but not drive that far to fish? idiocy?
Last week I worked in Newquay and that was ok to drive to?
I am sticking local to fish but that is anywhere between cardiff and swansea, I want to head off west but it is the parking restrictions putting me off, nothing else.
If the advice was meant to protect me or others I would not be allowed to do the same mileage for work would I ?
I did not fish before we were allowed to and spoke out in favour of lockdown but we have never really been locked down have we ?
Got to go I have a 'local' low water session to pack for

When garden centres were aloud to open, that was my final straw to go fishing.
I must say though travelling 40 miles to work is necessary.
Travelling any miles to fish is unnecessary.
You have to look at what is necessary and unnecessary.
40 mile on a push bike was exercise.
Me too would be down west wales if car parks were open, and ogmore etc..
Soon as he opened garden centres that was that for me. I don't see garden centre being necessary

Ive stuck to within the current restricted Travel Limit. But if you want to see complete disregard to Social Distancing, then have a look at the pre-pubescent dim-wits that congregate down the snap in their snappy 1.2Ltr city cars acting like Tw@ts. These offspring should bring shame to their parents.
