We had a weeks holiday on Anglesey,so we set off early in order to get some bait from Red Wharf Bay,calling off at Gallows Point for some bits of tackle etc.we tried at Bull Bay 1st,getting some Wrasse on the float.13 09 12 we fished at Llam Carwy near Amlywch, getting some decent Wrasse on float and bottom, weather started to turn by this point, after getting swamped by a large wave decided to move off the mark ! as the winds started to increase we decided to try Holyhead Breakwater the inner side catching mainly L S Dogfish with small Pollack,Coalfish and a few Whiting at least the sun came out, this seemed so easy fishing . 14 09 10 we had a look at Llanbadrig near Cemaes Bay,which looked liked a solid white wall of water ! spectacular to watch but no chance of fishing, instead we decided on Amlywch Breakwater even there it was really blowing with heavy showers, but we did catch small Pollack,Whiting and i couldnt believe it when Paul caught this Brill on the float !! Thursday we went to Wylfa after the forecast predictions said winds would subside but it certainly had not,we again looked at this white water and big waves,we decided on Llanddwyn Island where it was just beautiful and calm, here we caught some nice sized Mackerel on lures but as Razorbills were diving right under our rod tips we suspended lure fishing,we did get enough for bait though,we continued fishing on the bottom with Mackerel strip catching L S Dogfish, and odd Whiting, the rockpools were amazing . then Paul got a great bite resulting in this superb Bullhuss ! i missed a cracking bite while opening my pasty !!! typical .saw some amazing sunsets, considering the weather we had a excellent fishing holiday, and cant wait to return, regards BlennyBri and PabloPollack.:fishing:
